<strong>Nevada</strong> Nurses Foundation EST 2014<br />

Thank you, Debra Scott, the inaugural Distinguished Nurse Leader in 2016 and<br />

Ian Curley, on behalf of Margaret Curley, the 2018 recipient, for presenting the<br />

2019 award to Dr. Mary Bondmass. Dr. Mary Bondmass lives the <strong>Nevada</strong> Nurses<br />

Foundation mission of increasing access of quality healthcare for <strong>Nevada</strong> citizens<br />

by promoting the professional development of nursing. She is revered as a catalyst<br />

for change, advocate in nursing, scholarly writer, and leader in nursing. Thank you,<br />

Dr. Bondmass for being of service and making a genuine difference in nursing and<br />

healthcare.<br />

Congratulations to the 50 Nurse Leaders Under 50 years of age who are making<br />

their mark in nursing! Their fortitude, resilience, motivation, determination, and<br />

perseverance to lead the change we need to see in nursing is inspiring. On behalf of<br />

the <strong>Nevada</strong> Nurses Foundation, thank you for all that you do!<br />

Sherri Sherk NVNSA Northern <strong>Nevada</strong> Director for presenting the announcing the<br />

<strong>Nevada</strong> Nurses who professionally progressed by obtaining an advanced degree or<br />

certification in their practice.<br />

These students are demonstrating leadership, advocacy, community support,<br />

and scholarship. They were identified by their educational institution, a professional<br />

nursing organization, or community as being a Rising Star! Thank you! We<br />

appreciate you choosing to join the nursing profession.
