The Main Attraction. The wedding is about the bride & groom. They are the main attraction. When posing for group pictures, whether it be of the bridal party or all your cousins, make sure the bride and groom are the center of attention! If you fnd yourself to the left or right of the group, or you’re buried in relatives, make sure and push your way forward. SILM: What are some of your favorite places to take photos in Southern Indiana? Hannah: We’ve been blessed to work at beautiful Southern Indiana venues such as Calumet Club, The Grand and 300 Spring among others. We enjoy shooting outdoors, especially. Ashland Park in Clarksville. It ofers the view of the Louisville skyline. The nearby fossil beds (at the Falls of the Ohio) are unique to our area and make a neat background as well. We’ve also had great success at the New Albany Amphitheater. Some other favorite spots include Mount Saint Francis, Huber’s Orchard & Winery, and the Clark State Forestry. Several local churches ofer great backdrops on site as well. One that comes to mind is the beautiful Saint Mary’s of the Knobs, especially in the fall! The best advice I think I could ofer is, again, to get to know your photographer.
