Planes, Trains and
Automobiles
Theme – THEMED
Location – Snapology
Discovery Center
Time – 9am-12pm
Dates – 7/6 – 7/10
Age Range – 5-9
Students will explore the world of
transportation in this camp as they build
models of their favorite forms of transportation
and they learn about energy, wheels and
axles, air resistance, and more. Creative
building, robotics and engineering come
together for an awesome camp! Cost – $165

Brick Art Creation Station
Theme – STEAM
Location – Snapology
Discovery Center
Time – 1pm-4pm
Dates – 7/6 – 7/10
Age Range – 5-9
As your child learns about different types
of art and the periods in which they were
created, students will also be interpreting
what they see and creating their own works
of art out of LEGO® bricks. In Snapology’s
Brick Art camp, children will draw inspiration
and guidance from great works of art like
Da Vinci’s “Mona Lisa,” Van Gogh’s “Starry
Night,” Wright’s “Falling Water,” and so
many more! By the end of the experience,
your child will be able to not only share
information about famous artists, art forms,
and art movements, but create their own
unique works of art that reach beyond the
past and into the future. Cost – $165

Robot Olympics
Theme – Robotics
Location – Blake
Hopkins Campus
Time – 8:30am-11:30am
Dates – 7/6 – 7/9
Age Range – 10-13
In Snapology’s Robot
Olympics, students will
build and program robots to compete
in sports themed challenges. Students
will learn both mechanical and computer
programming concepts as they create robots
that run races, play hockey, and much more.
Students will work in groups, using LEGO®
Mindstorms® EV3 technology, to complete
fun and thought-provoking challenges.

Escape Snapology
Theme – STEAM
Location – Blake
Hopkins Campus
Time – 12:30pm-3:30pm
Dates – 7/6 – 7/10
Age Range – 5-8
Each day of this camp, students and their
team will discover clues, solve puzzles,
answer riddles, and manipulate contraptions
in order to complete the assigned tasks
and to ultimately unlock the box to escape
Snapology! Using math, problem-solving,
and critical thinking skills, students will
be required to work together to succeed
in escaping Snapology. Students will also
be given the opportunity to create their
own Escape Rooms and try to complete
the challenges developed by their peers.

Awesome Robotic Adventures

Snapology’s Awesome Robotics Adventures
camp introduces students to the technical
world of robotics. Students will work in
teams to create interactive and mechanical
models inspired by adventures. Your child will
build robotic giants, sports models, planes,
and boats to explore different mechanisms
such as tilt and motion sensors, motors, and
computer software. These mechanisms will
bring their creation to life, all while having fun
learning important social and technical skills.

Castles, Kingdoms, Wizards and
Harry Potter
Theme – THEMED
Location – Eden
Prairie Parks & Rec
Time – 1pm-4pm
Dates – 7/6 – 7/10
Age Range – 6-10
Who wouldn’t want to escape and play in
the world of magic, fairytales, and wizards?
In Snapology’s Castles, Kingdoms, and
Harry Potter camp, students will have the
opportunity to use LEGO® bricks to design
their fantasies while also bringing the it all to
life! Potions, wizard sports, dark arts, wands,
and more are all wrapped into this creative
and enchanting camp. Let the magic begin!

Amusement Park Engineering
Workshop
Theme – STEAM
Location – Falcon Heights
Time – 9am-12pm
Dates – 7/10
Age Range – 8-12
We bet your child loves going to amusement
parks to experience the variety of fast,
dropping, and spinning rides, but have they
ever thought about the science that goes
into building those rides and the people
who are responsible for designing them? In
Snapology’s Amusement Park Engineering
workshop, students will become engineers
of their own amusement park rides and
will learn the core physics and engineering
concepts used to make a ride thrilling!

Gamebots Robotics
Theme – Robotics
Location – Richfield Central
Time – 9am-12pm
Dates – 7/6 – 7/9
Age Range – 8-11
Calling all gamers! Have a blast creating
robotic games each day of this aweome
camp while learning about robotics and
coding. Students will learn about gear ratio,
sensors, programming, and pulleys as they
create fun to play games. Whether creating
a robotic hockey player or a ring toss, your
child is sure to have fun building, learning,
and playing.

Lion King, Ninjago and more! Throughout
the week, we’ll bring our favorite movie
characters to life and experience some of
their most exciting adventures as we travel
through their worlds. We’ll even tinker with
robotics, engineering, architecture and
problem solving skills while we create and
play our way through the week!

Architecture & Archeology
Theme – STEM
Location – Justice Page
Time – 1-4pm
Dates – 7/6 – 7/10
Age Range – 5-9
In this STEM camp, we learn about nonnewtonian
fluids, motion sensor, structural
load and excavation! Each day we’ll take a
closer look at the science of slime, robotic
design, super structures and archeology as
we build, create, and dig our way through a
STEM-y week.
