Superheroes Camp!

Theme – THEMED

Location – Coon Rapids/Anoka

Time – 1-4pm

Dates – 7/27 – 7/30

Age Range – 5-9

To the Batcave, LEGO® fans! In this

program, we will design our own

superheroes, create our own hero

adventures, build the cool superhero vehicle,

and so much more! It’s our destiny to have

a blast as we create our own fantasy worlds

inspired and protected by our favorite

superheroes and our best ideas. In this

program, our greatest superpower will

always be our imaginations – unless you

really can fly.

Snapology Favorites: Drones, Slime,

Archeology, & Animation

Theme – STEM

Location – Blake Wayzata

Time – 8:30am-11:30am

Dates – 7/27 – 7/30

Age Range – 8-11

In this STEM camp, we learn about nonnewtonian

fluids, pitch & yaw, frames-persecond

and excavation! Each day we’ll take

a closer look at the science of slime, drones,

stop, motion animation and archeology as

we fly, create, and dig our way through a

STEM-y week.

Planes, Trains, Automobiles and Cities

Theme – THEMED

Location – Minnehaha Lower

Time – 8:30am-12pm

Dates – 7/27 – 7/31

Age Range – 7-12

In Snapology’s Lego City® camp, children

will explore the world of transportation,

structures, and what makes a city go!

Students will build models of their favorite

forms of transportation, as well as what

makes a strong structure like a building or

bridge and other parts of a city. By the end

of the week we’ll have a huge city full of

buildings, vehicles, parks and other awesome

structures!

STEM For Girls Camp

Theme – STEM

Location – Minnehaha Lower

Time – 12:30pm-4pm

Dates – 7/27 – 7/31

Age Range – 6-10

Come make some new friends or bring

along your bestie as we play games, build

clubhouses, create robotic animals, make

slime and more in this amazing camp!

S.T.E.M. concepts like the engineering design

process, physics, architecture, and chemistry

will be front and center, along with narrative

play, creative activities and even some

crafting. It’s going to be a blast!

Villains Are Cool, Too

Theme – THEMED

Discovery Center

Time – 9am-12pm

Dates – 8/3 – 8/7

Age Range – 5-9

In this nefarious camp, we’ll focus on the

“baddies” from Star Wars®, Marvel & DC,

Ninjago, Minecraft and even Harry Potter!

Villain lairs, traps and mazes, mosaics

portraits, and more will be covered in this

light-hearted, anti-hero camp. We’ll see you

on the dark side! Cost – $165

Robo-Pets Robotics

Theme – Robotics

Location – Snapology

Discovery Center

Time – 1pm-4pm

Dates – 8/3 – 8/7

Age Range – 5-9

Children will begin to explore the world

of robotics as they build simple animal

models that teach the fundamentals of

robotic design. Whether learning about

sensors while building a fish or alligator or

discovering ways that gears and wheels and

axles create movement while building robotic

dogs or frog, your child is sure to have a

great time! Cost – $165

Space Wars Robotics

Theme – Robotics

Location – Twin Oaks Middle School

Time – 9am-12pm

Dates – 8/3 – 8/7

Age Range – 8-14

Robotics inspired by Star Wars® and space

travel are the focus of this futuristic camp!

Learn about space, space travel and, of

course, Star Wars®! Students will build

different robots each day and then code and

and Harry Potter

Location – Twin Oaks

Middle School

Time – 1pm-4pm

Dates – 8/3 – 8/7

Age Range – 8-14

Who wouldn’t want to escape and play in

the world of magic, fairytales, and wizards?

In Snapology’s Castles, Kingdoms, and

Harry Potter camp, students will have the

opportunity to use LEGO® bricks to design

their fantasies while also bringing the it all to

life! Potions, wizard sports, dark arts, wands,

and more are all wrapped into this creative

and enchanting camp. Let the magic begin!

Junior Engineering

Theme – Pre-K

Location – Minnetonka Community Center

Time – 1-4pm

Dates – 8/4 – 8/7

Age Range – 4-5

Young students build fun and simple models

using DUPLO® blocks as they experience

pulleys, levers, gears, wheels and axles while

exploring energy, buoyancy, and balance.

We’ll experiment with engineering concepts

while playing and interacting with giant

swings, elevators, see saws and more!

Amazing Animal Robotics

Theme – Robotics

Location – Minneahaha

Lower

Time – 8:30-12pm

Dates – 8/3 – 8/7

Age Range – 7-12

Students will work in teams to create a

zoo of interactive and mechanical animals.

Children will build robotic animals and

explore different mechanisms such as tilt

and motion sensors, motors, and coding

skills to help them bring their creation to life,

all while having fun learning important social

and technical skills.
