EV3 SUMO Bot Robotics
Theme – Robotics
Location – Snapology Discovery Center
Time – 9am-12pm
Dates – 8/31 – 9/4
Age Range – 9-14
The ancient art of SUMO wrestling may be fun to
watch, but certainly not so easy to compete in. Not
anymore! In this program, your child will design
their own SUMO wrestling robot that will compete against their classmates bots for the
title of toughest SUMO Bot. This design process will make them better engineers, better
programmers, and better collaborators. Don’t worry, they will be guided by a trained
Snapologist to help them accomplish their goals as they design and battle! No prior robotics
experience necessary. Cost – $165

Star Wars Movie Making
Theme – Technology
Location – Snapology Discovery Center
Time – 1pm-4pm
Dates – 8/31 – 9/4
Age Range – 9-14
Let’s make super cool Star Wars® movies with stop
motion animation using LEGO® bricks! Teams will go
through the entire movie making process, from plot
and character planning to editing, all using Star Wars as the backdrop for the movies. The
best part is the kids will get to take home their movies so they can show friends and family!
