Space Wars Robotics
Theme – Robotics
Location – Minnehaha Lower
Time – 12:30-4pm
Dates – 8/3 – 8/7
Age Range – 8-12
Robotics inspired by Star Wars® and space
travel are the focus of this futuristic camp!
Learn about space, space travel and, of
course, Star Wars®! Students will build
different robots each day and then code and
interact with their creations.

Mechanical Masterminds Engineering
Theme – STEM
Location – Blake Wayzata
Time – 8:30-11:30am
Dates – 8/3 – 8/7
Age Range – 7-11
Mechanical Masterminds gives your
student the tools they need to understand
mechanical movement through the
foundations of simple machines, physics, and
engineering design. They will see moving
parts up-close as they follow instructions
to build various machines, then use the
models to develop new design ideas,
test out physics concepts, and even play
games with their partners and classmates.
Spinning battle tops, motorized spirographs
and remote control claw grabbers are
just the tip of the engineering iceberg!

Pokemania Camp
Theme – THEMED
Location – Blake Wayzata
Time – 12:30-3:30pm
Dates – 8/3 – 8/7
Age Range – 7-11
In Snapology’s Pokémania program, students
will explore the Pokémon world and practice
their Pokémon training skills! They will create
their own training gyms, unique battles, and
even their very own generation of Pokémon.
Your student will also explore some realworld
science as they examine the habitats,
characteristics, and needs of different
Pokémon. They will do more than catch ‘em
all, they will build and examine them all very
closely and have a blast doing so!

EPIC Minecraft Camp
Theme – THEMED
Location – Expo for Excellence
Time – 9am – 12pm
Dates – 8/3 – 8/7
Age Range – 7-11
We’ve got good news - your child now
has a way to learn science, technology,
and engineering skills by playing a game -
Minecraft®! Snapology’s EPIC Minecraft®
camp will introduce your learner to exciting
and challenging aspects of Minecraft they
may not have considered, including turning
themselves into a Minecraft® character,
solving common game problems, and making
mob petting zoos and mazes around the
Minecraft® world.

Video Game Design
Theme – Technology
Location – Groveland
Elementary
Time – 9am-12pm
Dates – 8/3 – 8/7
Age Range – 8-13
Create your own video game in this
awesome Snapology camp. We’ll teach
students how to design their very own
side-scrolling platforming game with Stencyl
game creation software. Level and character
design, as well as traps, elevators and
projectiles are all covered. They even get
to take their game home on a flash drive
that can be shared and played at home with
family & friends. Don’t miss out!

The Amazing STEM Race
Theme – STEM
Location – Groveland
Elementary
Time – 1pm-4pm
Dates – 8/3 – 8/7
Age Range – 8-12
Ready for an adventure? Send your learner
on a trip with Snapology around the world
to discover unique aspects of different
cultures, including national flags, traditional
cuisines, influential artists, and notable
historical landmarks! While they explore,
they will be challenged to work with a
partner to solve different LEGO building
tasks in various “countries” that will put them
ahead or behind in the race to the finish
line! Not only will your student be learning
about world cultures and developing an
appreciation for cultural differences, but
they will be competing in fun challenges to
test their building and problem-solving skills.

Ocean Exploration
Theme – STEAM
Location – Snapology
Discovery Center
Time – 9am-12pm
Dates – 8/10 – 8/14
Age Range – 5-9
Description – Students will discover
all sorts of fun in the ocean in this
interdisciplinary camp that uses robotics,
coding, art and engineering concepts to
teach children about their underwater
friends. Your learner will be too busy
underwater exploring, building and creating
to realize that they are also gaining critical
social and developmental skills. Cost – $165

Snapology Ninjas
Theme – THEMED
Location – Snapology
Discovery Center
Time – 1pm-4pm
Dates – 8/10 – 8/14
Age Range – 5-9
We’re glad you’re here, because Sensei
Wu needs your help to save Ninjago City
from evil! In this camp, students will work on
things like designing a new dojo and training
supplies with which to perfect their ninja
abilities, experience the training to help them
become more focused and controlled ninjas,
and even discover and create their very own
element dragon companion to help them
save the day! This program will immerse your
learner in the world of Ninjago and challenge
them to be the best they can be so they can
one day be a Master Ninja. Cost – $165
Drone Commander
Theme – Technology
Location – Crystal Rec
Time – 1-4pm
Dates – 8/3 – 8/4
Age Range – 8-14
In Snapology’s Drone Commander camp,
your student will be introduced to the world
of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and
develop a deep understanding how to
control and manage this exciting technology.
This workshop will give your student the
chance to safely test out some of the newest
advances in aerial flight and really take their
knowledge of engineering to new heights!
