MOBILITY IN THE WACHAU
The Wachau World Heritage Trail gently presents visitors the most beautiful
places of the Wachau. 14 stages spread over approximately 180 kilometers
of varied trails. 110 km of the Nibelungengau trail runs along the North- and
South-banks of the Danube. 8 stages connect promising charming landscapes
with historic destinations.
The long-distance Hiking Trail Kremstal-Donau will be opened in 2020.
Nature lovers can enjoy 100 km of the trail with its 15 stages.

Nextbike | Rent a bike 24 hours a day at rental stations of the rental
bike system Nextbike.
Travelling without a car | At the info stations Melk, Emmersdorf, Spitz
and Krems, owners of the Niederösterreich-Card will obtain a free day
ticket which entitles them for a free ride on all buses and ferries.
Wachau train | A special gem is the Wachau train! The over 100-year-old
railway line runs directly through the world heritage region Wachau.
E-Mobility | The most secret corners of the Wachau can be comfortably
explored via the use of electric vehicles/bikes.
Wachau bus lines | The bus lines WL1 to WL7
run on different routes throughout the Wachau region.
