A new dimension in fitness

Ability to move correctly and beautifully.

With this complex, you will increase your

athletic skills and become more flexible and

graceful.

In fitness, a new era is coming - the so-called threedimensional,

or functional, training. And traditional

power gradually fading into the past.

If in everyday life, the muscles are constantly working

at different angles, then why should we swing

them in the same plane? - fitness gurus reasoned

reasonably and came up with a fundamentally new

type of training. It is based on the movements we

make in everyday life.

Functional exercises differ from traditional ones

in the same way that stereo movies differ from

regular ones because they force parts of the body

to move in all sorts of directions. This means that

not a single cell will remain unused.

The effectiveness of such exercises is higher, but it

is also more difficult to perform them. We selected

the six most effective ones and commented on

them in detail to eliminate errors.

LESSON PLAN.

Perform all 6 functional exercises in the

specified sequence 2-3 times a week,

alternating days of classes with days of

rest.

WARMUP. Start with 5 minutes of light

cardio. For these purposes, it is best to use

an elliptical trainer or stepper, which allows

you to warm up the muscles of the entire

body.

HITCH. At the end of the workout, pull the

main muscle groups, holding each stretch

for 30 seconds.

CARDIO BONUS. To achieve more

impressive results, take 30 to 40 minutes

of aerobic exercise 5 days a week. In this

case, one or two training sessions should

be a high-intensity interval.

Where to start.

FIRST OF ALL, THE LEGS.

For functional training, the technique is of

paramount importance. You need to start

honing your skills from your feet. If you

do not follow the position of the knees,

calves, and thighs, the body weight will

be distributed unevenly. This will affect the

ability to maintain balance and posture,

and therefore the effectiveness of the

exercises. Here are some tips on how to

"behave" with your feet.

- Each time, make sure that the knee is

exactly above the index finger.

- When performing the exercise from a

standing position, do not allow your feet to

fall inwards and do not place them on the

outer edge.

- It is important that the weight of the body

is evenly distributed over the entire foot,

and not transferred to the toes or heels If

despite all these tricks, you can not keep

your balance, the fault may be a deformity

of the foot (clubfoot). Consult a trainer

or an orthopedist to find a special set of

corrective shoes.

6 FUNCTIONAL EXERCISES.

1. Stand in the Plank position.

Lie on your stomach and stretch your legs,

holding your toes and heels together. Rest

your forearms and fists on the floor, placing

them shoulder-width apart. Bring the blades

together and tighten the press 1 (A). Using

your buttocks and legs, lift your hips off the

floor and stand on your toes: your body

should form a straight line 1(B) from the

top of your head to your heels. Hold this

position for 20-30 seconds (gradually bring

it to 1 minute), then return to the starting

position. Repeat 2-3 times, resting between

repetitions for 30-45 seconds. The muscles

of the press, buttocks, spine extensors, hip

rotators are strengthened.

Please note! While in the Plank position,

keep all the muscles in tension, especially

the buttocks and abdomen, - this will

prevent sagging of the lower back.

POSSIBLE MISTAKE.

In order not to test the strength of the spine,

do not slouch, do not bend your knees, do

not protrude your buttocks and do not lower

your stomach.

2. Alternating lifting of the arms and

legs.

Stand on all fours, resting your palms on

the floor: hands straight, but not tense,

wrists under the shoulder joints, knees

shoulder-width apart. To give the spine a

natural curve, relax the press, then tighten

it and lower the shoulder blades 2(A).

Hold for three seconds, then return to the

starting position and perform the exercise

with the other hand and foot. Do 20

repetitions.

Gradually increase their number to 30 and

stay in position 2 (A) for 5 seconds instead

of 3.

The muscles of the press, buttocks, anterior

surface of the shoulders, upper back, chest,

and spine extensors are strengthened.

Please note! During the entire exercise,

the body should remain stationary. Raising

your arm and leg, extend them as far as

possible, as if trying to reach opposite

walls.

3. Squatting on one leg.

Stand up straight, put your body weight

on your right leg, and lean forward slightly.

Bend your left leg at the knee at a right

angle. Hands are freely lowered, the press

is tense 3(A).

Extend your left arm forward and your right

leg back, parallel to the floor 2(B).

Lower yourself into a half-Crouch 3(B),

hold for a few seconds, straighten up, and

repeat 15 times with one leg, then the other.

Use an unstable surface for complications.

The quadriceps and the muscles of the

back of the thighs are strengthened; the

muscles of the outer and inner thighs work

as stabilizers.

Please note! The toe of the support leg

should be pointed straight ahead!

POSSIBLE MISTAKE.

1. Don't raise your leg too high, otherwise,

you will have to arch your back. And do not

shift your body weight to one side - this can

lead to loss of balance.

2. Do not transfer your body weight to the

toe, so as not to overload the knee joint.

Don't lean too far forward - this causes your

back to bend. Do not swing your hips from

side to side - this will destabilize the pelvis.

4. Lunge with a twist.

pace and perform lunges without stopping.

The quadriceps, buttock muscles, abs,

back of the thighs, and calf muscles are

strengthened.

Please note! When turning, do not tilt the

body either to the side or forward.

POSSIBLE MISTAKE.

Do not lower your hips very low and make

sure that the knee of the supporting leg

does not go beyond the sock line.

Put your feet shoulder-width apart, take a

weighted ball weighing 2-4 kg and hold it

at waist level. The press is tense, the chest

is straightened, the shoulders are lowered

4(A). Take a step forward with your left

foot and drop into a lunge: the left knee is

above the ankle, the right looks at the floor,

the heel is raised. Simultaneously, turn the

body to the left and move the ball to the

outside of the left hip 4(B). Return to the

starting position. Repeat with the other leg.

Do 8-10 repetitions on each side. To make

Attach the rubber shock absorber to the door jamb and stand with your right side facing

it. The legs are shoulder-width apart, while the left one is 30-40 cm ahead of the right

one. Grasp the handle with both hands, locking your fingers together, and transfer your

body weight to your right leg 5(A). Pull the handle to the left hip, turning the body to the

left, leaning slightly forward and transferring the weight of the body to the left leg 5(B).

Use your buttocks and abdomen muscles to return to the starting position. Do 2 sets of

10 repetitions on each side. To complicate the exercise, use the cable traction simulator

in the gym, putting a weight of 10-17 kg on it.

All abdominal muscles are strengthened, especially the oblique ones.

Please note! Your feet should be flat on the floor. Only transfer your body weight from

one leg to the other when turning the body.

6. Breeding dumbbells on the bench.

Put dumbbells on both sides (you can use discs from the barbell (see photos 6A, 6B))

weighing 1.5-2.5 kg. Lie on the bench with your stomach, legs spread shoulder-width

apart and resting your toes on the floor. Tighten your abs, bring your shoulder blades

together, and take the dumbbells, rounding your arms like an arch 6(A). Spread them

apart to shoulder level: palms facing down, wrists straight 6 (B). Hold for a few seconds,

then lower your hands. Repeat 12-15 times. Perform 2-3 approaches. Then gradually

add the weight.

The muscles of the upper back, the back of the shoulders, as well as the press, buttocks,

and extensors of the spine are strengthened; the muscles of the upper thighs work as

stabilizers.

Please note! Spreading your hands, imagine that you have to hold a pencil between

your shoulder blades. You can use a fitball instead of a bench.

Advice. To master the correct technique, learn the exercises without burdening.

POSSIBLE MISTAKE.

1. Do not pull with your hands alone and do not bend them too much.

2. Do not lower your head, do not bend at the waist, do not lift the dumbbells above the

level of the shoulders, do not press your elbows to the body.

project?

М. In "Fashion in the city " I was

invited by the designer of the

KPI brand Galina Biryukova. I

represented her brand at Milan

fashion week in September.

She was satisfied and called

me again.

NM. "Fashion in the city" is

your first performance?

М. No, this is not my first show.

I participated in the Milan

fashion week in September

2019. Participated in the

show of the Italian brand @

Brums. In small shows that

are arranged by outlets in

Lombardy. Reached the final

of the "Bambini in passerella"

competition in Stresa. The final

is due on March 8 at the very

beautiful Regina Palace hotel,

but due to the coronavirus, the

show and competition were

postponed to September.

NM. Impressions...?

М. The organizers of the

Fashion the city project Patrizia

Gaeta and Paolo Distaso

organized the event at the

highest level. 7 designers from

different countries took part

in the show. The impression

most positive, big emotions.

М. Presented the KGB brand of

Russian designers Galina and

Nikolai Biryukov. On February

24, the last day of fashion

week, the brand of Romanian

designer Claudia Suciu was
