> OUR MISSION<br />

<strong>The</strong> mission of the East Central University School of Nursing<br />

is to prepare baccalaureate nurses that are lifelong learners to<br />

provide safe, quality, patient-centered care in an environment<br />

of teamwork and collaboration.<br />

> EARN A DEGREE<br />

<strong>The</strong> ECU School of Nursing offers a Bachelor of Science with<br />

a major in nursing degree to pre-licensure students. Graduates<br />

who meet the <strong>Oklahoma</strong> state requirements for licensure are<br />

eligible to apply to National Council Licensing Examination<br />

for Registered <strong>Nurse</strong>s (NCLEX-CAT) to become and RN.<br />

> RN TO BSN ONLINE<br />

Online RN to BSN entry dates are every 8 weeks!<br />

June 8th, <strong>2020</strong> is the next start date.<br />

Applications for our Traditional BSN program are due<br />

September 1, <strong>2020</strong> for the Spring 2021 Semester<br />

Through an online platform, this ACEN-accredited program<br />

prepares working nurses to provide quality, patient-centered<br />

care in collaborative professional environments. In addition, it<br />

will also serve as the academic credential needed to pursue a<br />

master’s degree in nursing. RN to BSN online students may<br />

also take general education classes or prerequisites they may<br />

need concurrently while attending this program.<br />
