Mr. Davis: Mrs. Lally, I know for a fact that Mr. Mitchell was asked to attend the Prom and to
work it and he turned it down, even though it was overtime, he turned it down.
Ms. Lally: OK, I just didn’t want to see him get the shaft.
Mr. Houser: Thank you Dereck, because I was not aware of that I thought he was going to work
it.
Mr. Davis: I am aware of the email thing she is talking about too, I know somebody who
received it. She commented earlier about the salary and what it was costing the district for Mike
Mitchell to teach the Hooked on Fishing so I am really curious to see those numbers in writing
why it would cost us so much for that, the $20,000.
Mr. Houser: OK, we will do that. Anybody else from the public?
Tom Kostka, 36 Anchor Road: I just listened to Kim talk about this email. Let me just ask Mrs.
Becker, did you write this email?
Mrs. Becker: No.
Mr. Kostka: This email did not come from you?
Mrs. Becker: It came through my email account, yes, but it was a forward where I removed the
header from the person it came from and sent it for information.
Mr. Kostka: Well, thank you for that, see plain and simple it wasn’t from her, thanks.
Mr. Houser: Anyone else?
Voice: I just want to make a quick comment if I may, Mr. President. About the Hooked on
Fishing, you had said it was costing us $20,000, the Township $20,000, but that was not for the
Hooked on Fishing Program, correct, that was for using him as a DARE officer, him as the
officer role was costing $20,000. Hooked on Fishing wasn’t costing $20,000, right?
Mr. Houser: But that is the only role there is in the summer, so it is actually costing us for
Hooked on Fishing. Do we have a Motion to close Public Comment?
Mrs. Taylor: So moved
Mrs. Pilovsky: Second
Mr. Houser: Any discussion?
