Tanger Outlets<br />
For the 15th year, Tanger Outlet Centers asked its shoppers to th<strong>in</strong>k p<strong>in</strong>k<br />
<strong>in</strong> the battle aga<strong>in</strong>st breast cancer. As part <strong>of</strong> the annual program to fight<br />
breast cancer <strong>and</strong> raise awareness for this disease, Tanger customers <strong>in</strong><br />
Wiscons<strong>in</strong> Dells jo<strong>in</strong>ed <strong>in</strong> the campaign September 17-October 19, 2008.<br />
The successful program raised more than $29,000 <strong>in</strong> 2008 <strong>and</strong> $20,000<br />
<strong>in</strong> 2007 for the UW Carbone Cancer Center. S<strong>in</strong>ce 1994, Tanger Outlet<br />
Centers has contributed <strong>in</strong> excess <strong>of</strong> $5 million to <strong>in</strong>crease awareness<br />
for the importance <strong>of</strong> early detection, support educational programs<br />
<strong>and</strong> to improve the quality <strong>of</strong> life for breast cancer patients <strong>and</strong> families<br />
throughout the country.<br />
