The American Family Children’s <strong>Hospital</strong> hematology/<br />

oncolgy staff performs family-centered rounds. Parents<br />

are <strong>in</strong>vited to jo<strong>in</strong> the medical team to discuss their child’s<br />

case daily. The team <strong>in</strong>cludes a pediatric oncolgist, nurse<br />

practitioner, social worker, pediatric house staff (residents),<br />

pharmacist, case manager, nutritionist <strong>and</strong> a bedside<br />

nurse.<br />

why men are at greater risk for liver cancer than women.<br />

Their work is focused on the potential contribution <strong>of</strong> sex<br />

hormones to liver cancer development <strong>in</strong> mice.
