In its third edition the "Laboratory on Feedback in Artistic Processes" reflects on "Responses" within performing arts. The results of the previous Labs highlighted the need to take a closer look at the complexity and often subtle implications of feedback within the the artistic process itself. How do artist organise feedback and how do they process it? Who they want feedback from and what are its different roles? How can describe these relationships, and how does it shpae the artistic work? This booklet presents the different views on and experiences of feedback practices that were elaborated during the lab along the beforementioned questions and the insightfull contributions of its participants. Underpinning the following pages, three thematic fields have emerged: the impacts of feedback, feedback as a tool, and practicalities and contexts of feedback.

project Life L<strong>on</strong>g Burn<strong>in</strong>g with<strong>in</strong> the frame of “Teachback”. Life<br />
L<strong>on</strong>g Burn<strong>in</strong>g (LLB) is supported by the cultural program of the<br />
European Uni<strong>on</strong> carried out by Uferstudios GmbH and 11 European<br />
partners.<br />
HZT Berl<strong>in</strong> is the jo<strong>in</strong>t resp<strong>on</strong>sibility of the Berl<strong>in</strong> University of<br />
the Arts (UdK) and the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst “Ernst<br />
Busch“ (HfS) <strong>in</strong> cooperati<strong>on</strong> with TanzRaumBerl<strong>in</strong>, a network of<br />
the professi<strong>on</strong>al dance scene.<br />

by the symposium RESPONSES – HOW TO COMMUNICATE<br />
(ABOUT) DANCE, organized <strong>in</strong> cooperati<strong>on</strong> with Tanzbüro Berl<strong>in</strong><br />
as part of the module mapp<strong>in</strong>g dance berl<strong>in</strong> – Attenti<strong>on</strong> Dance, a<br />
project legally represented by ZTB e.V. <strong>in</strong> partnership with TanzForumBerl<strong>in</strong><br />
and Kulturprojekte Berl<strong>in</strong>, and funded by Europäischer<br />
