Environment Management There is a licensed abstraction within this area. However, the development should not affect this activity. If dewatering activates are to be carried out as part of the construction processes then, under the terms of the Water Resources Act 1991, the prior agreement of the Environment Agency is required for discharging dewatering water from any excavation or development to a surface watercourse. We suggest that the applicant communicate with the Norfolk Wildlife Trust, tel: 01603 625540 so that they are able to highlight any potential concerns they may have Extensive works and any infrastructure plans may require the need for a protected species survey, the results of which may impact on the choice of the best routing option. We would ask to see the results of any species surveys carried out.
