The board of Weedons School has been asked by the Ministry<br />
of Education to make a minor amendment to our enrolment<br />
scheme.<br />
Under this amendment, we are proposing that students will<br />
be enrolled if they live within the home zone described on our<br />
website – www.weedons.school.nz<br />
The enrolment scheme, which includes a precise description<br />
of the home zone, may be viewed at the school office where<br />
copies of the scheme are also available.<br />
The enrolment of out-of-zone students is governed by the<br />
provisions of the Education Act 1989.<br />

West Melton Rifle Range<br />
29 <strong>August</strong> <strong>2020</strong><br />
The general public is to be advised that<br />
a NZ Army Exercise will be conducted in<br />
the West Melton Rifle Range area over<br />
the period 29 <strong>August</strong> <strong>2020</strong>.<br />
The exercise will involve up to 40<br />
personnel from 2/4 Royal New Zealand<br />
Infantry Regiment, Burnham Military<br />
Camp.<br />
Training will involve soldiers throwing<br />
High Explosive Grenades on the<br />
West Melton ranges over the period<br />
10am – 4:30pm on the 29 <strong>August</strong> <strong>2020</strong>.<br />
