But on top of that, they provide expert consultationservices for owners building new carwashes as wellas necessary installation and maintenance for existing locations.This includes helping to implement best practices anddesigns involving architects, engineers, and other industryprofessionals.To do this, the consulting firms not only design and specifythe original equipment in new construction, but also theequipment for remodels and upgrades. In this regard, theyoften work with specific manufacturers of tunnel wash equipmentas well as suppliers of replacements parts such as dedicatedmanufacturers of the brushes – cloth, foam, tire/wheelbrushes and detailing brushes.Spurring interest in such services is the fact that many existinglocations, built decades ago, are aging and in need ofupgrade.
