Winter Solstice at Stonehenge Each year in December visitors gather at Stonehenge early in the morning to mark the Winter solstice and to see the sunrise above the stones. Or why not feel the power of England’s pagan past with a lesserknown wellbeing experience at Stanton Drew? Pagan rituals are held on the four Fire Festivals usually on Saturday 11am for an hour.
