t was time to downsize. After a lengthy search, Monica<br />
and Stu Soren found their home—and it checked most<br />
of their boxes. It was in a welcoming location, had<br />
great bones, and was a single<br />
story. But it would require<br />
a major renovation to really<br />
feel like home. They decided<br />
to approach their project in<br />
phases. At first, they simply<br />
updated a few things, so the<br />
home felt more comfortable<br />
and reflected the couple’s<br />
