Established in 1993, Thailand Environment Institute (TEI) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization.
Through researches, training and capacity-building activities, TEI has been working for the conservation
of natural resources and the sustainable development of environment in Thailand and in the region.
TEI advocates a participatory approach to shared environmental responsibility by working closely with
government, private sector, local communities, civil society partners as well as regional and international
organizations Areas of concentration of TEI consist of 1) Business and Environment 2) Energy,
Industry and Environment (EIP) 3) Urbanization and Environment (UEP) 4) Grassroots Action
Program (GAP) and 5) Environmental Education and Human Resources Development Center
(EEH)Among our list of environmental accomplishment and expertise are Green Labeling Project,
Cleaner Technology, Thailand Network of Eco-Efficiency and Cleaner Production, Greening the Supply
Chain and Material Exchange Center.
