Boarding at Pymble - ‘Live It, Love It, Learn It,
Lead It’
The Pymble Boarding community is supported by the
‘Live It, Love It, Learn It, Lead It’ programs. ‘Live It’
aims to teach girls life skills – cooking basic meals,
laundry and changing a tyre. ‘Love It’ provides a range
of opportunities for Boarders to create connections
with housemates and within the local community.
‘Learn It’, is an evening study program, designed
to enhance achievement of academic potential, life
balance and personal fulfi lment. Finally, ‘Lead It’
provides a variety of opportunities for Boarders to
demonstrate and develop leadership capacity. A
holistic approach means girls feel loved, supported,
engaged and ready to achieve their best.

part of life at Ravenswood and is built upon
Ravenswood’s Guiding Principles of Excellence,

Within a secure, caring and happy environment

contribution and encouraged to achieve her

Ravenswood provides a warm and welcoming
‘home away from home’ for its small community
of Boarders from Years 7–12. The two newly
renovated boarding houses provide a mix of
single and twin share accommodation, linked by a
magnifi cent glass walkway, with air-conditioning,
a shared lounge facility, kitchen, dining and
indoor/outdoor recreation areas and supervised
learning spaces.

A boarding school since 1856, St Catherine’s blends
country friendliness and cultural diversity with
boarders from regional Australia and Asia Pacifi c.
With only 60 places, every girl is known, nurtured
and cared for by dedicated live-in staff. The boarding
house is newly decorated in a fresh contemporary
style and each girl has privacy for study and rest.
St Catherine’s is well located 20 minutes from the
airport, close to a major bus and train interchange,
beaches and glorious parkland.
Boarding students are involved with many afterschool
activities and weekends are fun with
organised outings in and around Sydney.
Lifelong friendships are made in the collegial
atmosphere of the St Catherine’s boarding house.
