GLENAEON RUDOLF STEINER SCHOOL<br />
Glenaeon is an independent, co-educational school catering<br />
for children from Preschool through to Year 12. The school is<br />
situated on three inspiring campuses on <strong>Sydney</strong>’s lower north<br />
shore. Its main campus at Middle Cove (Years 3-12) is located in<br />
a magical bushland setting reaching down to Middle Harbour. The<br />
Kindergarten to Year 2 campus is situated nearby in Castlecrag<br />
while the Preschool is in Willoughby.<br />
For over 60 years, Glenaeon has provided an academically<br />
challenging, warm and culturally enriching environment for young<br />
students. Through a broad and challenging curriculum and cocurricular<br />
program students are encouraged to think creatively act<br />
ethically, and express themselves culturally. Glenaeon’s goal is to<br />
help students find meaning in life, and to live a life with meaning.<br />
The school blends the NSW Board of Studies Curriculum with the<br />
ACARA- recognised Australian Steiner Curriculum and offers a wide<br />
range of subjects to HSC level.<br />
All Glenaeon students participate in the aesthetic program of<br />
drawing, painting, music and drama. They also learn Japanese<br />
through primary school.<br />
A wide range of co-curricular activities are offered including<br />
computer coding, debating, intra and inter-school sports<br />
competitions including fencing, netball and soccer and several<br />
music ensembles, bands and choirs.<br />
The school’s Outdoor Education Program builds skills in adventure<br />
activities in Australian and overseas environments. Each year<br />
high school students undertake challenging expeditions including<br />
Tasmania’s Overland Track and Kakadu National Park.<br />
