Leadership Training Workshops We organised and hosted Leadership Training Seminars and Workshops, including for Professor Krabbendam on Evangelism. We conducted Biblical Interpretation Workshops for lay-preachers. We hosted a very successful Home Education Fair on Reformation Day. This also included a Reformation Art and Essay Competition and Variety Concert. Articles, Sermons, Correspondence, Lectures and Radio & TV Ministry My secretary, Marion, informs me that in the last year, she has typed 608 of my letters, 58 articles, 17 sermons, 8 Prayer and Praise Updates, 4 Tributes, 5 articles for Covenant Nations, 5 articles for The Bellringer, 5 articles for The Rhosarian, 8 articles for The Fish Eagle and 39 lectures for the Reformation Society. She sent 212 of my emails for Frontline Fellowship, 42 emails for Gospel Defence League, 137 emails for Africa Christian Action, 28 emails for Christian Action Network and 83 emails for The Reformation Society. I conducted over 380 meetings in 2020, including over 200 radio and TV programmes. Gospel Defence League In 2020, Gospel Defence League newsletters, included: Black Lives Matter – a New Religion Cult; The Real Story Behind the Six-Pointed Star and A Balanced and Biblical Response to Lockdowns and Masks. These can be read online on our www.GospelDefenceLeague.org website, in addition to a series of free downloadable tracts. 42 different Bible teaching and evangelistic Emails were sent out to the Gospel Defence League emailing list. The Reformation Society Aside from the five weeks of hard lockdown level 5, the Reformation Society met every Thursday night of the year, experiencing steady growth, as we tackled very current and topical issues, such as: A Balanced and Biblical Response to Lockdowns and Masks; UN Attempts to Promote Abortion in Africa as “Health Care” “Human Right”; Racism, Riots, The Role of the Media and Revolution; Black Lives Matter is a New Religious Cult; Responding to Revolution with Reformation; Understanding Psychological Warfare; How to Resist Marxist Bullying Tactics; Secessions in the Bible and in History; Eyewitness to Successful Secession Movements; Resistance to Revolution; The Bolshevik Revolution of 1917; The Murder of the Russian Royal Family; Understanding Revolution and Revolutionaries: Case Study: The French Revolution; Reparations for Slavery; Weaponising Words and the War on Free Speech; The 1820 Settlers – 200 Years Ago; The Importance of Monuments; Evaluating the Exodus Film Attacking KwaSizabantu Mission; The Real Story Behind the Six-Pointed Star; Farm Terrorism and Genocide in South Africa; Successful Strategies to Safeguard Farmers from Terrorist Attacks; Mail-In Ballots and Electoral Fraud; Leftist Agendas Create the Very Problems they Complain About; “Everything is Always Only Going to Get Worse!”; The Day of the Covenant and Christmas Under Fire. Churches on Lockdown Most churches in South Africa have not yet been able to reconvene Sunday worship services since the Lockdown was enforced from 26 March. This is because most congregations in our country do not have their own building, but depend on public venues, such as schools, town halls, scouts and girl guide halls. Under Lockdown regulations, these are forbidden to allow churches to meet during the dragged-out lockdown. This has left many frustrated over the failure of their local congregation to meet, minister and worship together. Many have come to Literature4Africa for literature and audio visual resources, to enable them to conduct home fellowship services. Livingstone House Building Project Throughout 2020, we have been in the process of converting our attic at our Mission Headquarters into a multi-purpose hall (Upper Room – Bathman Memorial Hall) and extra accommodation. This has been long overdue as we have had to accommodate missionaries and guests in tents. There are many volunteers who would gladly work at our Mission, if we can provide accommodation. Now, by God’s grace and the generosity of Lenora who has put her entire inheritance from her parents, Rev. Bill and Harriett Bathman, into the Livingstone House Building Project, we also have four more bedrooms, a kitchenette, Pioneers Network Studio and a Comms/IT Workshop. We have also expanded our Men’s dorm. Since Reformation Day, the Upper Room has been used for Thursday night Reformation Society meetings and this year we were able to celebrate Thanksgiving in the Upper Room. For over a month, our regular radio recordings have been recorded in the Pioneers Network Studio, which is named after two of the Missions which Bill Bathman founded: Pioneers and Network. “The Lord has done great things for us and we are glad.” Psalm 126:3 11
