ROUND 9 PREVIEW
Albeit a little later than planned, this
derby game between Munster and
Leinster is without doubt one of the
most anticipated games of the season
for both sides, and an enthralling
prospect for the neutral rugby observer.
Nick McCarthy and
Devin Toner
Up to January 2 last, neither side had
lost in the Guinness PRO14 this season,
with Munster’s unbeaten run ending in
Belfast and Leinster losing at home to
Connacht on the same day. Munster’s
last defeat at Thomond Park was at the
hands of Leinster on December 28 2019.
