GRADUATE RESEARCH
ASSISTANTSHIPS
$2,000–$5,500
Graduate Research Assistantships are available to support
students enrolled in thesis-bearing program (MSMBS,
MSPS). Full-time graduate students who have completed at
least one academic semester in a thesis-bearing graduate
program and who are in good academic standing are
eligible to apply for the GRA. Students work 10-20 hours a
week on their research project as a condition of the
assistantship. Students may have this award in conjunction
with a Graduate Tuition Scholarship.
Recent graduates have
enrolled in Ph.D. programs at
the University of Georgia,
Weill-Cornell Medicine, and
Stony Brook University.
GRADUATE TEACHING
ASSISTANTSHIPS
$2,000–$5,500
Graduate Teaching Assistantships are available for
qualified graduate students. Graduate teaching assistants
serve under the direction of a faculty member in a didactic
course, workshop or laboratory. Students work 5-20 hours
a week depending on their course assignment. Students
may have this award in conjunction with a Graduate Tuition
Scholarship.
