Off-campus housing rates vary widely.<br />

GRADUATE RESEARCH<br />
ASSISTANTSHIPS<br />
$2,000–$5,500<br />
<strong>Graduate</strong> Research Assistantships are available to support<br />
students enrolled in thesis-bearing program (MSMBS,<br />
MSPS). Full-time graduate students who have completed at<br />
least one academic semester in a thesis-bearing graduate<br />
program and who are in good academic standing are<br />
eligible to apply for the GRA. Students work 10-20 hours a<br />
week on their research project as a condition of the<br />
assistantship. Students may have this award in conjunction<br />
with a <strong>Graduate</strong> Tuition Scholarship.<br />
Recent graduates have<br />
enrolled in Ph.D. programs at<br />
the University of Georgia,<br />
Weill-Cornell Medicine, and<br />
Stony Brook University.<br />
GRADUATE TEACHING<br />
ASSISTANTSHIPS<br />
$2,000–$5,500<br />
<strong>Graduate</strong> Teaching Assistantships are available for<br />
qualified graduate students. <strong>Graduate</strong> teaching assistants<br />
serve under the direction of a faculty member in a didactic<br />
course, workshop or laboratory. Students work 5-20 hours<br />
a week depending on their course assignment. Students<br />
may have this award in conjunction with a <strong>Graduate</strong> Tuition<br />
Scholarship.<br />
