As the lockdown eases it seems that we are now on a long slow road to recovery.
Companies like HMG (page 26) have helped by producing hand sanitiser for the
NHS and the general public alike but reports from other sectors of the industry show
that order books are down and it is going to be a struggle for many companies.
Let’s hope that the Government’s philosophy of building and investing will help out
the finishing industry in the coming months and years.
We have some positive news in this issue about the use of graphene in the finishing
industry, and the hi-tech approach to metal treatment that the UK has been at the
forefront of will hopefully mean that we will have a prosperous future.
