WOBURN MOSAIC<br />
An art lover’s dream…with a twist. By<br />
day, Woburn Mosaic is a contemporary<br />
art gallery, specialising in original<br />
painting, sculpture, glass and ceramics.<br />
By night, the entire space transforms<br />
into a relaxing lounge bar. Much of the<br />
work remains on display so, wherever<br />
you choose to sit, you are surrounded<br />
by art to admire while sipping wine and<br />
tucking into a sharing platter.<br />

WOBURN LIDO<br />
Gifted to the village by the Duke of<br />
Bedford in 1911, Woburn Lido will be<br />
110 years old this year. It is a popular<br />
summer attraction in a lovely setting<br />
adjoining the Woburn Abbey Estate,<br />
with plenty of space for picnics and<br />
sunbathing. Last winter, for the first<br />
time, the Lido opened for cold water<br />
swimming which proved a big hit. The<br />
pool is heated from May throughout<br />

THE WINE CELLAR<br />
Situated in the heart of the village,<br />
The Wine Cellar is an independent<br />
retailer offering hand-crafted stock from<br />
family-owned wineries. Pop in or visit<br />
www.thewinecellar.wine to book an<br />
enlightening wine tasting event with a<br />
cheese and charcuterie board. Recent<br />
events have seen these expand to the<br />
Zoom platform. Available nationally,<br />
each online tasting is designed for two<br />
people with wine delivered in small<br />
bottles along with a cheese platter and<br />
tasting notes.<br />
WOBURN MARKET<br />
The third Sunday of each month sees<br />
the Farmers’ Market take place in the<br />
centre of the village. Offering an array of<br />
produce from local farmers and artisan<br />
producers, the popular 800-year-old<br />
street market continues to attract both<br />
new and regular customers. There is<br />
plenty of free parking so make a day<br />
of it by having lunch in one of the<br />
many restaurants and browsing the<br />
independent shops.<br />

With three championship courses<br />
and superb hospitality, Woburn has<br />

golf day. The historic Abbey and<br />
