Warner Bros Studio Tours<br />

Located at the studios where the Harry Potter films were made,<br />

Cheslyn House & Gardens<br />

Discover Watford’s best kept secret. Designed by renowned<br />

architect Henry Colbeck and his wife, Daisy, the gardens display<br />

unusual and exotic plants collected while travelling the world.<br />

Imaginatively laid out with a pond, fernery, herbaceous borders,<br />

aviary and a dense woodland garden, which is full of colour in<br />

Planet Ice<br />

An ice rink offering fun family sessions, open skate times,<br />

birthday parties and disco evenings. If you want to take things<br />

more seriously, they also offer lessons in figure skating, ice<br />

balance and fitness. Cute penguin skating aids are available for<br />

Bhaktivedanta Manor<br />

Originally gifted to the Hare Krishna movement by the Beatle<br />

George Harrison, this stunning mock Tudor mansion is a<br />

take part in yoga classes, mantra meditation, vegetarian cookery<br />

The Watford Museum<br />

Housed in the former Benskins Brewery, the museum tells the<br />

Langleybury Children’s Farm<br />

A farm run by volunteers where you can get close to all of the<br />

animals including sheep, pigs, goats, ducks, geese, chickens,<br />

rabbits, owls, aviary birds and ferrets. Bring a picnic or buy a light<br />

lunch at the farm shop and let your kids let off steam in the play<br />

area with bouncy castle and mini football pitch.<br />
