Page 12 Montana Nurses Association Pulse May, June, July 2021 APRN Corner Keven Comer MN, APRN, FNP-BC Thank you to all that attended the 2021 Virtual APRN Pharmacology Conference March 5-6—it was a HUGE success. There was 80+ APRNS that “zoomed in” to hear incredible speakers from all over the United States. I have to tell you that it pushed me out of my comfort level, and I was pleasantly surprised – although we didn’t have the dual tracks like we have had in the past “inperson,” I found that I learned so much in offerings that I might not of normally attended. It has taught me that even though I thought I already knew the content, I learned something incredible and new in each and every lecture. It has also helped the planning team to think “outside the box” regarding planning next year’s conference. We have already had several APRNs reach out with offers to teach and share their expertise. Next year, we will resume our dual tracks, and will have two times the offerings. If you would like to be a presenter or know of someone who would be a great presenter, please reach out to me and I will get you hooked up with the MNA team. I know that many of you know experts that would be great for us to utilize in the virtual world.
