ASSEMBLIES<br />

This year our Year 7 & 8 students have been working<br />
extremely hard on their public speaking skills in<br />
PPE (Public speaking, philosophy and ethics). To<br />
showcase their endeavour the PPE teachers have<br />
nominated the best two groups from each year to<br />
present their speeches in assembly. This learning<br />
cycle the following students were chosen to<br />
present their speeches on War (Year 7) and<br />
Abortion (Year 8) :<br />
Year 7<br />
Eleanor Clare, Lydia Cox, Daniel McLaughlin,<br />
Josh Richardson, Leo Rae, Harrison Penketh and<br />
Bradley Kiernan.<br />
Year 8<br />
Mia Muller, Holly Rutter, Harry Capstick, Ella<br />
Laughton, Sienna Truelove and Lily Roberts.<br />
We are extremely proud of the students who have<br />
taken part this learning cycle and there will now be<br />
an opportunity each learning cycle for students to<br />
show off their public speaking skills.<br />
