King's Golden Moments so
far in 2021.
2021 has hardly been a walk in the park for us
here at King's and yet we still have had a lot to
celebrate despite the obstacles in place. Our
stoic nature runs deep within every aspect of
our school community. Here are some of our
highlights of 2021: and it's not over yet!
Amazing attendance: We all know the
challenges of home learning. Moving from
classroom to cloud was a daunting prospect
however our pupils rose to the challenge. Our
attendance remained at our usual high
standards with pupils demonstrating the
disruption had been minimal - arguably
unnoticeable!
Over Learning Cycle 3 (an entire term spent
over zoom) our school attendance average never
dipped below 97.5%! Well done everyone!

We have also been taking more steps than ever
to protect and support our pupils. The success
of our supportive strategies can be measured
against our 0% NEETS for this academic year,
meaning we have successfully placed all
graduating pupils within full time education,
employment or training.
Pastoral Lead Ms Aldridge has also implemented
a subtle but quick way for pupils to access
support form staff faster by ensuring this smart
shortcut is placed within every classroom.
Pupils only need to use a device to scan the
barcode and they have access to supportive
content and a direct line of communication to
our pastoral leaders.
