Summer 2021NEW EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHTPage 7My name is Michael Getz and I have a BSin Geology from Colorado Mesa Universityin Grand Junction, CO.I first went to work in the oil field as a MudLogger for Field Geo Services aftergraduation. I then went to work for anenvironmental company called StorageTank Technologies, Inc doingsoil/groundwater sampling and wasintroduced to the field of oil/gas compliance.Following STTI, I worked for PatriotPetroleum Solutions before being blessedwith the opportunity to work for theColorado Division of Labor andEmployment as a field inspector for OPS.I am passionate about providing excellentcustomer service and doing my absolutebest to help preserve the environment andour drinking water.I am a Colorado native, I love spending timewith my wife and dog, skiing, and mountainbiking.Monte McMechenHi I’m Monte. I mostly go by Monte, buthave been called other choice names on afew occasions.A Colorado native. Live in Bailey. I am thefather of two beautiful grown daughters.I enjoy the outdoors and about any activityassociated with being outside. Friends andfamily are important. So is a sense ofhumor. My mom and dog both think I’m agreat guy!I’ve been in the petroleum industry withconstruction and maintenance for moreyears than I can remember now at thisage. Majority of it has been spent workingfor manufacturing companies of retaildispensers and POS equipment.Michael GetzI have been with OPS since October of2020 and it has been awesome since dayone, simply just a great group of people towork with.
