Andrie was the youngest nominated Ambassador for Female Entrepreneurship for Europe, serving since then as a 

business advisor and mentor. In 2013, Andrie was designated as the Goodwill Ambassador of the Hope in Life Foundation 

and a Cypriot Woman of the Year (2013) finalist. She enjoys regular and extensive publicity in local print, online and 

television programs, and have been interviewed for various publications in the US, Denmark, Holland and Greece. She 

was a Senior Manager at the Markets department of KPMG in Cyprus and she currently holds the role of the Organizational

Efthymios Kanaris is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA), member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 

England and Wales (ICAEW) and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC). Efthymios graduated 

from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a First Class (Hons) degree in Accounting and Finance. 

He was a member of the Tax Committee of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC) from 2016 until 

2019 and was involved in studying and commenting on proposed tax circulars, draft legislation and advising on tax 

developments. 

Efthymios co-founded Kanaris, Demetriades & Associates in 2010, holds the position of Director and leads the Compliance 

and Tax lines of services. Specifically, he advises clients, operating in local and international environment, with respect 

to compliance and tax related issues. In the past, he was employed with PwC in Cyprus and London, in the Financial

Konstantinos worked with Arthur Andersen and BDO in Audit Departments and held a number of Finance and Accounting 

Head in multinational and listed organizations like Coca Cola Hellenic and P&G. He has extensive experience in 

streamlining Finance functions, reorganizations, and debt restructuring. Konstantinos has demonstrated unique 

teaching abilities in University and Finance Industry courses integrating theory with practical life examples to trigger 

students' interest. He is a CySEC Advanced, Basic & AML Examination tutor for Fund Industry professionals and a

Fraud is a global problem affecting economies, businesses, and individuals. A serious threat to any company independent 

of sector and size – and it is on the rise globally and nationally. It is estimated that a typical organization loses 5% of its 

annual revenue because of fraud. Consequently, all organizations, irrespective of their business sector, are nowadays 

more susceptible to fraudulent acts and there is an increased need for enhancing fraud awareness in organizations. The 

course explores the types of fraudulent financial transactions incurred in accounting records and helps gain a deeper 

understanding of the following concepts: basic accounting and auditing theory, fraud schemes, internal controls to deter 

fraud, and other auditing and accounting matters. This course is a supplemental study tool for the Certified Fraud

Currently, as a result of Covid-19 pandemic, fraud incidents are

Undoubtedly, no organization is immune to fraud incidents which can 

have a devastating impact on companies and can even result in 

bankruptcy. It is estimated that entities loses an average of 5% of their

The need to offer the program arose after realizing the great difficulties faced by professionals in the field of 

implementing good practices in the field of Financial Reporting and Analysis and more specifically to be able to analyze 

and interpret the results of financial statements of companies in order to is able to perform high quality analyzes that 

take into account recent developments regarding International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as well as US
