• Skilled in developing relationships with donors, churches, community leaders, and collaborating organizations.<br />

QUALIFICATIONS<br />
• Bachelor’s degree required.<br />
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior management role.<br />
• Preferred experience as a director, employee, or board member of a nonprofit organization; is familiar with nonprofit finance, accounting regulations, fundraising,<br />
and management.<br />
• The ability to attract, train, manage, motivate, and retain staff.<br />
• Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization.<br />
• Excellent strategic thinking, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills required.<br />
• Ability to develop business/strategic plans and evaluate external trends to modify existing strategies.<br />
• Ability to give expertise among all departments, but specifically to give direction regarding the shelters and drug recovery program.<br />
• The ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and decision-making in meeting objectives.<br />
• The ability to function effectively, exert influence and gain consensus at all organizational levels.<br />
• The ability and flexibility to be effective in a relatively unstructured working environment.<br />
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to express, advocate and defend views effectively and with clarity of thought to both internal and external stakeholders.<br />
• <strong>St</strong>rong mentoring, coaching experience to a team with diverse levels of expertise.<br />
• Entrepreneurial team player who can multitask and effectively make decisions in a timely manner.<br />
