EDITORIAL S Society’s perception of stability and security has continued to evolve over the past decades. They are both indispensable factors, even when it comes to forward-looking themes such as digitalisation or automation. While for those living in third-world nations or war zones, the overriding priorities remain essential provisions or survival, other countries place greater importance on political stability or the quality of healthcare. Over time, the needs of each and every one of us adapt to our life cycle and circumstances. When it comes to financial advice and the stability and security of investments, we at swisspartners have supported wealthy individuals for almost 30 years, always endeavouring to tailor our services to their individual needs. What is the significance of stability and security for financial services, politics and society? Adrian Hasler, who is a member of the Board of Directors of swisspartners AG, Liechtenstein, provides thought-provoking answers to this question in this issue’s editorial.
