Konzept...immer gespannt, was am Ende dabei herauskommen mag.

engelhaften, mystischen Bilder leiten lassen.

(eng) Sabine Friedewald is self-taught, born in 1974 in

Wuppertal. For her, painting is immersing herself in another

world, connecting with her soul, expressing what is hidden

deep in her and pushing it outward. She particularly likes to

paint intuitively ... without a plan or concept ... always curious

to see what may come out of it in the end. She likes to use

strong, bright colors and loves to paint almost exclusively with

pastel chalk. She recently started experimenting with oil paints

as well. Her pictures are inspired by shamanism and South

America. She already enjoyed painting in kindergarden and it

has accompanied her through her entire life. For the Sulamith

Wülfing exhibition she empathized with her wonderful works

and was guided by her angelic, mystical images.
