Sulamith Wülfing the forgotten daughter of the town

Sulamith Wülfing, the great visionary painter and illustrator from Elberfeld (today Wuppertal), would celebrate her 120th birthday this year. in Seattle, die Modern Eden Gallery in San Francisco statt. Eine zehnjährige Retrospektive von Vierlings Werk fand in Seattles

Gage Akademie der Künste 2014 statt.

(eng) Benjamin A. Vierling (b.1974) is a California based painter & illustrator working in traditional media. His work appears

on numerous book and album covers, most notably: Bill Fay’s 2020 LP, Countless Branches, Joanna Newsom’s opus, Ys, and

Daniel Schulke’s tome about botanical toxins, Veneficium. Past exhibitions have taken place at the Strychnin Gallery in Berlin,

the Roq La Rue Gallery, the Mortlake & Co. Gallery in Seattle, and the Modern Eden Gallery in San Francisco. A Decennary

Retrospective of Vierling’s work was held at Seattle’s Gage Academy of Art, in 2014.
