Digital conference
Dear members,
Many thanks to all participants of our digital General
menmbers meeting, which took place on
17 June 2021, with live broadcast from Düsseldorf
and interactive features.
Not least thanks to the professional support
of B & S Multimedia Solution GmbH, our event
was broadcast live in two languages, German
and English, from the Van der Valk Airporthotel
in Düsseldorf.
Integrated into our intranet, there was a lot of
„space“ for networking and the interaction between
members was very lively.
A big thank you to all members who brought
the event to life.
After the welcome of the participants and introduction
to the day, by Marc Possekel, the
traditional legal update by David-Christopher
Sosna, LL.M. specialist lawyer for transport and
forwarding law, ESSER Rechtsanwälte followed
on the topic „(Joint) liability of the forwarders for
the average of the MS Ever Given?“.
Afterwards, Mr. Possekel presented the current
developments of our cooperation in the Log-
Coop Part. The main topics were the development
of membership and the big issue of „digitalisation
and marketing“. The first screenshots
of the new LogCoop website, which will go live
in July, were presented.
The current developments in the B-TO-C takeaway
forklift network and the LogCoop warehouse
network were also presented.
For the panel discussion on the status of the
planned „LogCoop European Network“, Reiner
Kammels, Managing Director, Gustav Mäuler
GmbH & Co. KG, Klaus Schmitz, Sales Management,
Guckuk Logistik GmbH & Co. KG „LOG-
COOP EUROPEAN NETWORK“ and David Stein,
Head of Purchasing & Organisation Land Transport,
Leopold Schäfer GmbH.
Steffen Scholt, Project Manager, LogCoop
GmbH, gave a deeper insight into our LogCoop
Intranet.
The afternoon was filled with a varied afternoon
programme where each participant could put
together their own individual agenda.
