CUMBERLAND COUNCIL ELECTIONS - GREYSTANES WARD
battle for Greystanes
there’s plenty of competition as a dozen candidates put their hand up
Number two on Labor’s ticket is Sandra
advocate for protecting workers rights
and is passionate about securing a water
splash park for the Greystanes Ward.
Third is university student Akin Songur,
who is passionate about sustainability.
Aparna Vats will also throw her hat in
the ring, leading a group of independents
including Maya Jamal-Eddine and
Zaynoun Atie. Ms Vats is a registered
member of the Liberal Party.
In the 2017 Local Government Election,
primary votes in the Greystanes Ward,
taking out 44.7 per cent. The Liberal Party
