Winning the World Cup in 2006 was a moment I will never forget. Coming 4 th
very proud of. I was MVP at the Canada Cup in 2000. Winning gold in
Manchester 2002 for the Commonwealth GamesTournament. Australian all
star team 2004 and 2005.
OUT OF THE POOL
WHAT OR WHO INSPIRES YOU: There are so many people that have given me
inspiration along the way. I carry something from each one of them when I play. They
know who they are and how much I appreciate them.
ROLE MODELS: I have a few people that I have learnt so many things from, not only
in water polo but also for my personal life. Tomaz Lasic played a big role in my early
career and a lot of my technique stems from him. Eddie Dennis has taught me so
much in goalkeeping over the last few years and I have become a more rounded
player from that. Hopefully I can continue working with him. Dani Woodhouse and
Simone Hankin have taught me so much about water polo and life and if I turn out to
be half the person they are I will be very lucky. There are others but just not enough
room!
FAVOURITE WATER POLO PLAYER AND WHY? Jesus Rollan Prada because he
watched him play.
me. So I will train twice as hard today to make sure that doesn’t happen.
