ladder in a large engineering firm<br />
HAVE YOU ENCOUNTERED ANY OBSTACLES DURING YOUR<br />
WATER POLO CAREER? Yes, I was helping with renovations<br />
around the house and my hand got cut by a circular power saw and<br />
severed nerves, tendons and chipped the knuckle. I had four months<br />
out of the water.<br />
WHAT AGE DID YOU START WATER POLO AND WHY? I started<br />
playing for my high school at 14. It was a progression from<br />
swimming and other ball sports<br />
FAVOURITE WATER POLO PLAYER AND WHY? There are too<br />
many. I think I admire all of them because they play an amateur<br />
sport simply for the love of it, without any financial gains.<br />
FAVOURITE ATHLETE AND WHY? Lance Armstrong because of<br />
the adversity that he overcame to do as well as he did<br />
