third in 50m free at Telstra Commonwealth Games Trials in <strong>Melbourne</strong>….was second<br />

in 100m free three times and third in 50m free twice on Mare Nostrum series….won<br />

silver in 100m free, bronze in 200m free and was fourth in 50m free at Telstra<br />

<strong>Australia</strong>n Short Course Championships in Hobart IN 2005 Moved with her coach,<br />

Shannon Rollason from Brisbane to the <strong>Australia</strong>n Institute of Sport in<br />

Canberra…grabbed three gold at the FINA World Championships in Montreal in the<br />

100m free, 4x100m free relay and as a heat swimmer in the 4x100m medley<br />

relay….finished second at the Telstra Trials in Sydney behind training partner, Alice<br />

Mills in the 100 metres free IN 2004 Completed a perfect trifecta of victories at the<br />

Athens Olympics claiming three gold along with three world records in her Games<br />

debut….anchored both <strong>Australia</strong>’s 4x100m free and medley relay teams with the then<br />

two fastest relay splits in history and won the 100m free title after smashing the world<br />

record (53.52) in the semi final….won her second successive <strong>Australia</strong>n 100m free<br />

title at the Telstra Olympic Team Selection Trials in Sydney IN 2003 Finished second<br />

in the 100m free and was third in both the 4x100m free and medley relays at the FINA<br />

World Championships in Barcelona….claimed her maiden individual <strong>Australia</strong>n<br />

Championship in the 100m free in Sydney and also finished third in the 50m event<br />

and finishing second in both the 50 and 100m free events setting then <strong>Australia</strong>n and<br />

Commonwealth records in her two individual events respectively….2001….made her<br />

Sydney Olympic team as a <strong>17</strong>-year-old after finishing third in the 50m free at the<br />

Selection trials in Sydney….won five gold medals at the Millennium Commonwealth<br />
