Leaking water a common problem
LEAKING water supplies are
once again the most common
A ticket report has
revealed a breakdown of
The report shows leaking
were completed within an
average of days.
However, at the conclusion
of the report last month, 525
tickets were still open, or not
completed.
Incidents fell in a range of
categories, including transport,
wheelie bins, property
Let’s use water like we oughta
Morning time? Watering the garden is fine
Avoid watering between 3 and 9pm
Hold off on the hose and you’ll help take the pressure off our
pumps and pipes during evening peak demand this summer.
That way, everyone gets a fair share.
• Target water to plants that need it by using a hand-held hose or watering can
• Water every second day in the early morning or late evening, when it’s cool
• Consider water timers and planting drought-resistant gardens
• Avoid watering lawns and grass berms
• Seek the leak – find out how to check your property for leaks
• Leak in the road? Use our Snap Send Solve app, or contact us
