Time truly flies. It's 2022, and we're welcoming another cohort of first-year students to medical schools across Australia. On behalf of your AMSA, we are so happy to have you! Throughout your degree, AMSA is here to support you at every turn. Whether you have a passion for advocacy or policy, global, rural, Indigenous or queer health, medical education, mental health, gender equity, national and international health politics, leadership, events or community, you will find opportunity for growth and discovery within AMSA. AMSA Resources<br />

AMSA also creates medical resources for all medical students, and often has discounts for<br />

third party medical resources, reserved for AMSA members only<br />

AMSA <strong>Med</strong> Ed<br />

Provides a variety of resources including a newly released National Question Bank, Fact<br />

Sheets on common Australian medical conditions and academic modules. <strong>The</strong>se are<br />

fantastic resources to enrich university course learning.<br />

AMSA Academy<br />

Provides education on important Australian health issues that are not often covered<br />

comprehensively by the university curricula e.g. LGBTQI+ Health, and Refugee health.<br />

AMSA Factsheets<br />

Offers succinct summaries of conditions and Australian management protocols.<br />

AMSA OSCEs<br />

Consists of OSCE scenarios and marking guides.<br />

Apps and Third<br />

Party Websites<br />

<strong>The</strong>re are a number of study apps and third party websites available. Some of these can be<br />

quite expensive, however many of them offer free trials, so make the most of those! Here are<br />

some examples that some medical students use:<br />

Kenhub<br />

An anatomy focused website that delves into extraordinary detail. <strong>The</strong>ir website allows free<br />

access to their anatomy atlas and articles, and paid membership allows access to videos and<br />

quizzes.<br />

AMBOSS<br />

A digital learning platform for medical students from all year groups. <strong>The</strong> program is a useful<br />

compendium for physiological processes and pathologies. AMBOSS also has a unique<br />

question bank, useful for solidifying knowledge while preparing for exams<br />
