hospitals and other critical care settings.
Capitalink, L.C. (subsequently acquired by Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. Inc.) issued a
fairness opinion to the Board of Directors of Ithaka Acquisition Corp., a Special
Purpose Acquisition Corporation (“SPAC”), related to its acquisition of Alsius
Corporation.

Arrow International [NASDAQ: ARRO]) develops, manufactures, and markets
various disposable catheters, heart assistance devices, and related products in the
critical and cardiac care sectors. Arrow was looking to develop some relationships
with some Japanese Medical Device companies to license and market several
products for cardiac care applications.
