The Concept of Multiple Computers
Steps:
When you want to use Timewarp on Computer 1.
-Load, activate and use Timewarp 4 on Computer 1.
When you want to use Timewarp on Computer 2.
-Deactivate Timewarp on Computer 1 and check the license up to the Web based License
Server (Step A).
-Load, activate and use Timewarp on Computer 2 (Step B). NOTE: Now you can’t use it on
Computer 1.
When you want to go back to using Computer 1.
-Deactivate the Timewarp on Computer 2 and check the license up to the Web based
License Server (Step C).
-Activate the copy of Timewarp on Computer 1 (Step D). NOTE. You do not need to reload
the software.
When you want to go back to using Computer 2.
-Repeat Step 3 above but deactivate Computer 1 then activate on Computer 2.
There are some technical restrictions however. They are:
You must have all machines connected to the internet during activation/deactivation.
Some Firewalls and Proxy Server’s can prevent this process.
o If prompted by your antivirus or firewall software to unblock ‘activationmanager.exe’ please do
so.
o If you do not get this option and the process is blocked, get your network administrator to allow
access to ‘activationmanager.exe’.
o If you know that you use a proxy server and know what the settings are then you can enter
them into the activation manager by clicking on the Proxy Settings button and then placing a
check mark in Use proxy server. Now enter your proxy server address and port number and
then click OK. These settings will be stored for future use.
