“The <strong>Court</strong> now recognizes Deputy Solicitor General Katyal.”<br />

“The <strong>Court</strong> at this time wishes to note for <strong>the</strong> record that Neal K.<br />

Katyal has served as <strong>the</strong> Acting Solicitor General from May 17, <strong>2010</strong>,<br />

to June 9, 2011. The <strong>Court</strong> recognizes <strong>the</strong> considerable responsibility<br />

that was placed upon you, Mr. Katyal, to represent <strong>the</strong> government <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong> <strong>United</strong> <strong>States</strong> before this <strong>Court</strong>. And on behalf <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Court</strong>, I<br />

thank you for a job very well done. You have our sincere appreciation.<br />

Deputy Solicitor General Katyal said:<br />
