Dear Friends,<br />
It feels like we say this every year… but what a year! It has been<br />
a whirlwind <strong>of</strong> activity <strong>and</strong> together we have accomplished so<br />
much. Thank you for all you’ve done.<br />
We are settling deeper <strong>and</strong> deeper into our work. As we’ve done<br />
so, it’s become increasingly clear, our work is not just about<br />
education; it’s about graduating kids. And it will take strategies<br />
in education, income, <strong>and</strong> health to achieve that goal.<br />
Highlights <strong>of</strong> the year include getting our Schools as Community<br />
Hubs strategy with <strong>Toledo</strong> Public Schools <strong>of</strong>f the ground, engaging<br />
more people in volunteerism (2,400 more in 2011 than 2010!),<br />
<strong>and</strong> increasing campaign results by 1.5 percent. And that’s only<br />
the beginning.<br />
Take a few minutes to check out more <strong>of</strong> what we’ve been<br />
doing throughout the year. We have some really neat programs<br />
<strong>and</strong> initiatives going on, many <strong>of</strong> which are driving significant<br />
community engagement. Thank you for all you’re doing to make<br />
this work possible.<br />
