Toy Train <strong>Auction</strong> Lot Descriptions February, 2011 STOUT AUCTIONS 1222 Gilbert Erector set motorized Ferris wheel from “The Man Who Saved Christmas” Prop was built by Bill Bean for the film. Ferris wheel measures 36 inches wide by 38 inches tall. Wheel is C8 condition and very clean. Comes with prop tag signed by Bill. Due to the size of this item normal shipping will not be available. Buyer must make special arrangements or pick up is strongly encouraged. 1223 Postwar Lionel O gauge No. 6801 flatcar with boat in original box with detached flaps, C9 area. Car may be unrun. Box is square, solid and very bright. 1224 Gilbert Erector set motorized crane from “The Man Who Saved Christmas” Prop was built by Bill Bean for the film. Crane is C7-8 condition with some small paint chips on plates and some light plating wear on a few girders. Attached electromagnet is for show only. Comes with prop tag signed by Bill. A few small paint chips on some plates. Comes with prop tag signed by Bill. 1227 Postwar Lionel O gauge No. 6804 flatcar with original Pyro military loads. Car should clean to look C7-8. 1228 Very tough circa 1950 Gilbert Erector paper store display sign. This sign measures six foot wide by two foot tall. Sign is C7 with some light stains and creases. Also display glass has six cracks. Due to the size of this item normal shipping will not be available. Buyer must make special arrangements or pick up is strongly encouraged. 1229 Postwar Lionel O gauge No. 614 Alaska NW-2 diesel switcher, nick at cab corner C6++ with super tight hard to see hairline at bottom of screw. 1230 Gilbert Erector set motorized airplane ride from “The Man Who Saved Christmas” Prop was built by Bill Bean for the film. Plane ride looks C7+ condition. Comes with prop tag signed by Bill. 1231 Postwar Lionel O gauge No. 6808 flatcar with original Pyro military loads. Car should clean to look C7-8. 1232 A few cool movie props from “The Man Who Saved Christmas”. Includes two empty boxes labeled for Erector and two window corner tags. Boxes are slightly worn and window corners are very nice with some adhesive left on the back. Comes with prop tags signed by Bill Bean. 1233 Reproduction of the tough postwar Lionel O gauge No. 212P United States Marine Corps diesel Alco A unit. Train looks C9 area with C7 chassis. 1234 Really neat Erector motorized crane with building structure. This was a window display prop from “The Man Who Saved Christmas” Building has loop of 027 track that runs through the building. Prop was built by Bill Bean for the film. Set up looks C7+ with some light wear on some girders. Comes with prop tag signed by Bill. Due to the size of this item normal shipping will not be available. Buyer must make special arrangements or pick up is strongly encouraged. 1235 Postwar Lionel O gauge No. 6464-825 The Alaska Railroad boxcar, great looking C7++. 1236 Gilbert Erector circa 1954 factory build store windmill display. Piece is motorized with lights and is C7-8 condition. 1237 Postwar Lionel O gauge No. 6430 trailer flatcar in original box, unrun C8-9. Box looks C9. 1238 Gilbert Erector factory built 1949 Parachute Jump store display. This display came from Marshall Fields in Chicago. This model is in C7 condition with some plating wear and light flash rust on some girders and bolt heads. This very display is pictured on page 99 of Greenberg’s Guide to Erector Volume II. Window struts have no cracks. Box is missing tuck flap and Push in Tab.

Walking beam looks C7-8 condition. Comes with prop tag signed by Bill. 1241 Postwar Lionel O gauge No. 216 Burlington diesel Alco A unit, C6. 1242 A very neat Gilbert Erector steam engine model built from vintage 1940’s Erector parts. Model is motorized and mounted on wooden base. Looks C7-8 condition with some light wear on various parts such as small paint chips and plating wear. See photos for best description 1243 Postwar Lionel O gauge Presidential passenger cars, 2421 President McKinley observation, two 2422 President Harrison vista domes, and 2423 President Garfield Pullman, cars look C6-7. 1244 Ten American Model Builder and Structo manuals from the early 1910’s to early 1920’s. Manuals have wear at spines and general reading wear, but appear mostly complete. See photos for best description. 1245 Postwar Lionel O gauge No. 2346 Boston and Maine GP-9 diesel locomotive and No. 6017 B&M caboose. Trains should clean C7 area. 1246 Gilbert Phono set instructions from 1918 and 1920. 1918 set is in very good condition with light corner wear. 1920 set is worn with a heavy crease lengthwise and some small cover stains. 1247 Postwar Lionel O gauge No. 213 M.&St.L. diesel Alco A units, clean C7-8. 1248 Gilbert instruction manuals including 1919 Air- Kraft in very good condition. Also includes magnetic fun and fact and 75 electrical tricks both from early 1920’s and in very good condition. 1249 Postwar Lionel O gauge No. 6636 Alaska Railroad hopper in C7 OB, 6162-60 Alaska gondola with three red canisters, 6825 flatcar with bridge load, 6465 tank car and 6027 Alaska Railroad caboose, tank car has chips to hand railing and spots of very light surface rust on frame. Trains are otherwise nicer C6+. 1250 Early Gilbert instruction manuals including Mysto Magic slight of hand tricks, handkerchief tricks, and phono set instructions. Magic books are very good condition while phono set is worn with entire upper right corner of manual missing. 1251 Postwar Lionel O gauge No. 6803 flatcar with original Pyro military loads. Car should clean to look C7-8. 1252 Gilbert instruction manuals including three Erector electrical set, fun with electricity, two fun with your motor, and two glass blowing books. Books range from good to very good condition. 1253 Postwar Lionel O gauge No. 211 Missouri, Kansas and Texas The Texas Special diesel Alco A units, C7-8 however the T unit has a super nicely repaired pilot, very hard to tell. 1254 Gilbert Erector 1934 No.8 Hudson loco and tender manual. Manual is complete and in excellent condition with a few very light marks and tracing of letters on the front cover. 1255 Postwar Lionel O gauge No. 6809 flatcar with original Pyro military units in original box, C8. Nice box with a missing inner flap and inner tape repairs. 1256 Gilbert Erector 1931-32 No. 7 1/2 truck set manual. Manual is complete and in very good condition with some very light cover and spine wear. 1257 Postwar Lionel O gauge No. 2328 Burlington GP-7 diesel locomotive in original box, C6+. Box has a strip of clear packing tape, otherwise it looks C8++ in shape. 1258 Gilbert Trumodel 1929 No.7 set manual. Manual is complete and in very good condition with some minor corner tears and worn corners. 1259 Postwar Lionel O gauge No. 6800 flatcar with airplane in original box, C8.
