Toy Train <strong>Auction</strong> Lot Descriptions February, 2011 STOUT AUCTIONS 873 Prewar Lionel O gauge No. 144E steam passenger set in original boxes with 262 steam locomotive, 262T tender without whistle, 613 T.C. Pullman, 614 T.C. observation and 615 Terra Cotta R.P.O. car. Trains look C6-7. Boxes have missing flaps, split corner, marker writing on set box. Boxes are square and solid. Original instructions included. 874 Gilbert Erector 1935 No. 00 set in OB. Set is complete and correctly displayed. Contents are C8 with original instructions. Box is tough 1935 only red back ground variation. Has one small tape repair to one side along with some very light edge wear. C7-8 875 Prewar Lionel O gauge No. 2755 Sunoco tank car in original box with insert, C7+ shell. Frame has minor distortion. Box looks C8-9. Old piece of clean tape and very small tear to edge of end flap. Both end flaps are ink stamped O. 876 Gilbert 1920 Brik-tor No. A set in OB. Contents of the set are C7 to C8+. Some girders have some paint loss, otherwise contents are very nice. Includes original instructions. Box has wear on lid edges and one side of lid with some skinning from tape removal. Box is C7. 877 Postwar Lionel O gauge No. 773X Hudson steam locomotive and 2426W tender with whistle in original boxes with inserts, wrapping paper, and instructions sheet. Trains look C7-8. Tender box looks lower C8. Loco box is C9 in shape, but has some minor surface wear from tape removal. 878 Gilbert 1915 Brik-tor set in OB. Set is complete and correctly organized and displayed with original instructions. Bricks show some very light wear and other contents are generally C8. OB shows some very light wear on lower lid edge and corners and one tear on side of lid edge. Box is otherwise C7-8. 879 Prewar Lionel No. 865B O gauge freight train outfit, set box with components. Box has split corners, tape repaired flaps. Box is clean and bright. Box could be solid with restoration. Components are: No. 88 controller in OB; OB with connecting ties, CTC Lockon, and small tube of Lionel lubricant; RCS in OB with controller; and instructions booklet. Also included are eight curved and five straight sections of standard O gauge track. Components are clean and usable. Set would have been composed of 203/2203B, 2758, 2755, 2757X. Please view photos for the best description of the set box condition. 880 Gilbert Erector No. 100 set from 1957 in OB. Set contents are complete and unused. Set still has factory shrink wrap covering parts. Also original instructions are included. Contents C9-10. OB is as good as you will find. C9. 881 Prewar Lionel O gauge No. 2758 Pennsylvania boxcar and No. 2757 Pennsylvania caboose, in original boxes. Trains look C7-8. Automobiles car has some distortion to ends. Boxes have missing inner coupler protection flaps, otherwise C7 area. 882 1924 Bilt-E-Z construction set in OB. Set is complete and correctly organized. Parts have some minor scratches and paint chips in some cases, but are overall C7-8. Also comes with original instructions. Box has two tape repairs inside the lid. Lid shows light edge wear otherwise C7-8. 883 Postwar Lionel O gauge No. 2125WS boxed freight set with 671 steam locomotive and 671W tender with whistle with 2452 Pennsylvania gondola with four wooden barrels, 2411 flatcar w/three logs, X2454 Pennsylvania boxcar and 2457 Pennsylvania caboose. Trains look C7-8. Inner boxes have some minor tape, tears and edge wear, C7-8 all with inserts. Set box looks C7 area, but has a replaced bottom flap. Components included are: 167 whistle controller in OB w/insert, connecting ties OB with contents, RCS in OB with controller, SP bottle with whole pellets, wooden smoke tamper, fun with Lionel trains book, and instructions booklet. 884 American Model Builder 1913 No. 5 set in OB. Set is complete and correctly organized and displayed. Includes original instructions and supplement manual. Contents are C7-8. OB has some light wear on the lower section of the lid label, otherwise clean corners and edges. Box is C8. 885 Prewar Lionel O gauge No. 203 steam switcher with No. 22023B bell ringing tender with operating backup light, in original boxes with inserts. Trains look C6-7. Tender box has an inner repair to a flap. Boxes have some old tape residue, C7-8. 886 Watrous Manufacturing Company 1915 Modelit No. 5 set in OB. Set is complete and correctly displayed. Includes three instruction manuals and other paperwork. Parts are in C8 condition. Box is worn on lid edges and has been repaired inside of the lid. Box is C7.
Toy Train <strong>Auction</strong> Lot Descriptions February, 2011 STOUT AUCTIONS 887 Postwar Lionel O gauge No. 2461 transformer car in original box with insert, C7 with touchups to red on transformer. Box has tape repaired flaps. No missing flaps, bright and clean box. 888 Gilbert Erector 1916 No. O set in OB. Set is complete and correct. Contents are high C7-8 with a few items showing very light spots of rust, otherwise shiny and bright. Includes instruction sheet. OB has duct tape repair to two corners and repairs to lid corners. Box is C7 condition. 889 Prewar Lionel O gauge No. 294 electric passenger train outfit in original boxes with components. No. 252 center cab electric locomotive with 529 Pullman car, and No. 530 observation car. Trains look very nice C7 and should polish to look a little better. Loco has been rewheeled, original wheels included. Inner boxes have wear at flaps and a couple missing flaps. Boxes are nicer, strong, square and clean. Set box has wear to corners/edges, good labels, C7 in shape. No. 88 battery rheostat, OB with connecting ties, and a No. 068 warning signal in OB are included. Original instructions pamphlet with torn cover included. 890 Really tough Gilbert Erector No. 1 set from 1913. Contents of set are in excellent condition. Original instructions are crisp with one small tear in the rear cover. Parts are complete and correct C8-9 condition. Box is also great with only light corner wear on the lid and very clean label. This is the very set pictured on page 48 of Greenberg’s Guide to Erector volume I. It is also pictured on the rear cover of the book in a color photo montoge. 891 Prewar Lionel O gauge No. 2815 Shell oil car in original box, C6+. Box has tape repaired flaps and missing inner flaps. Box is clean, bright, and very square. 892 Gilbert Erector 1923 No. 4 set in OB. Set is complete and organized with original instructions and contents list. Parts are C8 with only a few minor paint chips. Box lid has light wear at corners, with a two inch crease on the face of the lid. Nice bright graphics. Box is C7-8. 893 Prewar Lionel O gauge No. 1432 steam passenger outfit in original boxes with No. 221 streamlined steam locomotive and No. 221W New York Central tinplate tender with whistle, two No. 2430 Pullman cars, and No. 2431 observation car. Trains look C7-8. Trains are just fantastic, very nice and even sheen on roofs, lightly run but very nice. Inner boxes have old tape residue, missing flaps. Inner boxes are clean, bright, square and solid. 1019 RCS in OB, connecting ties in OB, type 1042 transformer in OB, and track included. Set box has paper tape repairs/reinforcement to flaps, some worn flap folds. Box is still very square and very solid. Clean box with bright clean label. 894 AC Gilbert 1920 crystal radio outfit in original wooden case. Set was produced during Gilbert's brief venture into radio products. Set is complete with instruction sheet inside lid. Contents look C8-9. Box lid has some light scratches otherwise looks C8. 895 Postwar Lionel O gauge No. 2217WS steam freight train with whistle and smoke in original boxes with components. Trains are as follows in this great looking set: 682 loco with smoke chamber, 2046W P.R.R. tender with whistle, 6464-50 S Rock Island boxcar, 6356 NYC stock car, 3562-25 A.T.&S.F. operating barrel car, and No. 6417 Pennsylvania N5c porthole caboose. Trains look very clean C7 area. Inner boxes look C7-8 area with some tape repairs and residue to tender and loco boxes. UCS in OB, No. 160 bin, instructions sheets and booklet, uncut billboards, and other paper items, track and other small components included. Set box shows mild wear mostly to top flaps, some writing, lower C7 area. 896 Gilbert Erector number 10092 Master Builder set from 1958. Set is complete and correct. Contents are C9-10, includes instructions, bonus book, parts order form, and 10004 DC3 motor sheet. Also includes Carnival sound effects parts. Case is C8-9 with a few minor scratches on lid and some minor paint loss where the clips secure the lid. 897 New Old Stock Lionel electrical motor with original Lionel tag. Motor looks C9-10. 8.5-1 gear ratio, 6 amp, 5,000 rpm, 115 AC, single phase, 60 cycles, original mounting base and wires. 898 Gilbert Erector No. 6 set produced in 1933. Contents of the set are complete and C7-8 condition. Includes instruction booklet, patent list, models built sheet, and contest flyer. Set box is C7+ condition with tough large red decal. 899 Postwar Lionel O gauge No. 2426W tender with whistle in original box with insert. Train looks C6-7. Box has missing inner flap, bright, square and clean.
