It quickly became a cult favorite<br />

It has been one of the brand’s most<br />

popular products since its 2010 debut.<br />

Now, to celebrate Oribe Canales’<br />

legacy and over-the-top glamour,<br />

Oribe is launching a limitededition<br />

release of its best-selling<br />

Dry Texturizing Spray. The playful<br />

retro-modern packaging, created in<br />

collaboration with New York-based<br />

painter and Oribe Canales’ close<br />

friend Alvaro, is a love letter to the<br />

brand’s heritage. This design was<br />

originally commissioned by Oribe<br />

Canales for his original line of<br />

products in the 1990’s.<br />

The artwork features a colorful<br />

illustration of Oribe Canales,<br />

known as the “muscle man”, which<br />

draws inspiration from his love<br />

of 50’s rock ‘n’ roll, Pop Art and<br />

American pinup-girl style that also<br />

speaks to the brand’s roots and its<br />

dedication to the art of hairdressing.<br />

The cheeky drawing also<br />

encapsulates his iconic and<br />

ever-growing sleeve of tattoos,<br />

including an image of the King<br />

of Pop, the U.S. flag, and a Japanese<br />

koi fish. In a nod to his hairdressing<br />

artistry, Oribe is depicted holding<br />

a styling comb.<br />
